Access Technology: AT CIG facilitates the exchange of information among personnel providing Access Technology and alternate media services for students with disabilities and to encourage coordination of Access Technology and alternate media efforts among all departments offering programs or services to persons with disabilities.
Adapted Physical Education: APE Cig provides adapted physical education professionals with the opportunity to collaboratively ensure the quality of adapted physical education at the post secondary level across the state.
Autism Spectrum Disorder/Intellectual Disability: ASD-ID CIG supports DSP&S faculty and staff trained in the process of completing the Disability Verification form for students as this specific area continues to require a vast need of services.
Counseling, Career Development and Veterans: CCV CIG connects professionals supporting students with disabilities in career development, job search, and counseling. It promotes collaboration among Career Centers, Disability Services, and WorkAbility Programs across the state. This group also focuses on the unique needs of veterans with disabilities in higher education. Join us to discuss current issues and network with fellow CAPED members.
Deaf/Hard of Hearing: DHH CIG was created to facilitate the exchange of information among personnel providing services for student who are deaf/hard-of-hearing in the post-secondary educational setting. we welcome anyone who provides services to students who are deaf, late deafened, deaf-blind, or hard-of-hearing and to anyone who is interested in learning more about this population.
Learning Disabilities: LD CIG, through professional development activities, inter-segmental collaboration, and inter-agency communication the CIG members. strives to improve the quality of programming and service in our institutions and communities. Join us in spreading a greater awareness of cognitive diversity by highlighting the mission of CAPED with a focus on students with learning disabilities.
Program Management: PM CIG facilitates collaboration and the exchange of critical information among managers working with students in rehabilitation programs.
